Family Dairy Cow & Calf! - $1,750 (Loomis, NE)

Gertie is a Brown Suisse is five years old, and calved three times I think.
All four quarters are good on her.
Her heifer calf (the kids call her Blueberry) is a 3/4 Suisse, 1/4 Jersey and is five weeks old.
The calf will grow into a good milk cow by her own right, she friendly and in good condition.
Gertie is in milk currently.
We are letting the calf stay on her, but if you were to get wean the calf off you'd be getting somewhere around 4-5 gallons a day, maybe a little more.
Really nice milk quality, high in cream content.
She has one horn that is just a little thing and bent downward.
She's halter broke and friendly.
She used to hand milking and machine milking.
We have some other Jersey cows and our set up is just a better fit for the smaller framed cow, so it's time for Gertie to find a new home.
If you are machine milking you'll want to buy a claw that has the larger teat size.
