Shop / Equipment Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled Shop/Equipment Manager to join our growing company.
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dependability are a must.
*Skills & Qualifications* * Excellent driving record required.
* Maintain shop yard and buildings including cleaning, organizing and inventory of materials.
* Organize shop tools and materials for ease of use.
* Repair small engines and minor repairs and maintenance of construction equipment.
* Responsible for ordering parts for construction machinery maintenance and tracking of maintenance work.
* Manual labor is required each day.
* Responsible for providing support to field personnel daily.
* Must communicate and interact with a variety of employees, managers, and owners daily.
* Requires self-motivated work habits and willingness to learn new skills.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually or as a team when carrying loads heavier than 50 pounds.
* Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
* Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl throughout each day.
* Willingness to abide by all safety rules.
Safety training will be provided on the job and via formal training.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen.
* Must be authorized to work in the US.
*Job Details* * $24 per hour and up depending on experience * 50 or more hours per week (no weekend work) * Home at night * Year-round employment (no winter layoffs) *Benefits* * Paid vacations, PTO, and holidays.
