Position Overview:
As a Lead Engineer, you will play a critical role in the engineering techniques used, product development lifecycle, leading the design and development efforts of complex engineering projects.
Your expertise and experience will be utilized to create innovative and efficient solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering department.
Key Responsibilities:
· Take a lead role in conceptualizing, designing, and developing new products or improving existing ones.
Utilize your engineering expertise and knowledge to develop innovative and high-quality solutions.
· Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
· Apply advanced engineering principles, theories, and concepts to solve complex technical challenges.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams, to understand requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
· Create detailed design specifications, engineering drawings, and documentation for manufacturing processes.
Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
· Identify areas for improvement in design processes, tools, and methodologies.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality.
· Identify potential risks and challenges associated with designs and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
Work collaboratively to implement risk management strategies.
· Ensure products and designs comply with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Design Engineer, demonstrating progressive responsibilities and accomplishments.
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.
g.
, Mechanical, Industrial Design etc.
) or a related field, would be a plus.
· Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant engineering disciplines.
· Proficiency in Solidworks software and other engineering tools.
· Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

The salary for this position is in the range of $70,000.
00 to $80,000.
