Overview: JOIN OUR TEAM! The District Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing locations for the Motel Division.
Responsible for executing and coordinating programs to meet Division sales and profit initiatives.
Responsible for developing people and administering personnel policies and procedures, maximizing customer service, employee productivity, and achieving established financial objectives.

Oversees location managers and their responsibilities; regularly reviews, monitors, analyzes and take appropriate actions necessary with Managers.
Actively participates in the hiring and recruiting process of Managers and employees.
Consistently provides fair administration of human resources policies and practices.
Provides superior customer service through fun, friendly locations while delivering a quality experience; responsible for customer relations and customer complaint resolution.
Be the local representative of Bosselman in local organizations such as Chamber, CVB, young professionals, state fair, Grow Grand Island, Fonner Park, etc.
Responsible for cross sales and marketing functions to leverage company owned assets for sales and volume growth Works with restaurant and events management to penetrate local event market.
Responsible for location annual sales and customer growth that meets or exceeds company targets through quality locations and efficient processes.
Effectively utilizes all tools given in each location resulting in superior location conditions and sales growth management.
Performs location and health inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
Conducts brand audits and loss prevention and control.
Establishes cash controls, policy and procedures compliance and review with the manager.
Responsible for MSDS compliance within the locations.
Effectively plans and executes of company objectives.
Serves as an expert, mentors and trains location managers and assistants in all programs, processes and concepts; develops leaders aligned with Division goals.
Ensures that managers and assistants are trained according to company standards and are able to complete duties as outlined in the manager and assistant job descriptions.
Establishes and maintains good working relationships with location managers and assistant managers through open and honest two-way communications.
Ensures that hotel employees are following company policies and procedures as outlined in company manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Coordinates indoor/outdoor facility and equipment repair needs with Maintenance group.
Keeps informed of customer needs, new products, competition and pricing and make sound decisions with support of division leadership.
Conducts regularly scheduled location visits as well as unannounced location visits to be able to develop sound business judgment in responding and resolving location issues.
Understands and enforces cash audits, loss prevention, safety and security procedures.
Establishes a routine program of maintenance, housekeeping, safety and protection of company assets.
Assists the Director of Lodging with remodels and new location openings from concept to completion.
Fills in at locations as needed.
Provides financial and budget information to managers in order to discuss and recommends improvements to stay within the parameters of the budget.
Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
Additional Job Duties: Assists with other duties as assigned.
Travel at least 30-50% of the time.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 3 or more motel managers.
Qualifications: Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed): Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Business-Finance field or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Qualifications: Broad knowledge of Internet software; point-of-sale systems; category management systems; order processing systems; payroll systems; Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word software.
Must have the ability to read and understand monthly P&L statements.
Must have the ability to read, follow, and implement budget controls.
Current valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be driven, confident, organized and an accomplished problem-solver.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and as needed.
Must be able to communicate in English.

Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
