Fairview Manor is looking to hire a Certified Dietary Manager.
Fairview Manor is a small facility located in Fairmont, NE.
Fairview Manor is a building that has been engaged in Culture Change for many years and we are looking for a candidate that will work to ensure the needs of those who live at Fairview Manor are met.
This is a full time position and is primarily Monday through Friday and will be required to fill in shifts as needed.
The Duties of this position are to Supervise other staff in the day-to-day operation of the Dietary Department.
Schedule staff throughout the Department.
Orient new staff and participate in recruitment and selection.
Communicate policies, assist and coach as needed.
Monitor work assignments, provide feedback, evaluate performance, and discipline as needed.
Maintain records, manage budgets and supplies; and fulfill department head responsibilities.
Ensures equipment and work areas are clean, safe and orderly;
Plan facility and individual resident menus in conjunction with the Dietitian, other department heads.
Participate in Care Plan Development.
Complete Nutrition Assessment information gathering, and complete nutrition progress notes.
Ensure food and supplies are purchased within budget, and are available in a timely manner for each meal.
Ensure food is nutritional, appetizing, prepared as planned, and served in a timely and pleasant manner.
Ensure appropriate meals/snacks are served to residents with special dietary needs.
Ensure all utensils, dishes, equipment and work areas are cleaned on a timely basis.
Ensure proper storage of foods and supplies.
Candidate must have completed the Certified Dietary Manger class, be in the process of completing the required classes or willing to start the classes.
Extensive experience working within a Long Term Care Facility is required and experience as a Manager is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.

Education:
* High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
* Supervising Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
* Dietary department experience: 1 year (Preferred)
