As of January 1, 2024, Hornady Manufacturing in Grand Island, NE will oversee operations of the Heartland Public Shooting Park (HPSP).
An immediate opportunity is available for a Shooting Park Manager at HPSP.
This person will report to the Director of Marketing at Hornady Manufacturing and will manage a small staff of Range Safety Officers (RSO) and Front Counter Staff to coordinate the operation of the shooting park activities and events.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for safety, maintenance and groundskeeping, development and implementation of SOPs, and coordination of participant registration for activities and events
Promote HPSP to vendors and customers
Establish and maintain a high level of customer service with the community and groups utilizing HPSP
A successful Shooting Park Manager will possess a passion for shooting sports, strong leadership skills, and a high level of organizational aptitude.
Previous experience with shooting park operations or shooting instruction is preferred.
Requires a valid driver’s license, ability to legally possess and safely handle firearms, and willingness to participate in required training or education.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends.

Heartland Public Shooting Park, previously managed by the City of Grand Island, is located west of Grand Island, NE and is the largest, most complete public shooting facility in the Midwest.
