Throughout our history, Kearney Equipment has grown from a Hesston hay and forage oriented dealership to representing the full line of AGCO brands, including Massey Ferguson Tractors, Sunflower Tillage, and White Planters.
We have also added more lines to ensure our hay producers are taken care of by adding Krone commercial hay and forage products as well.
Along with Hesston/Massey Ferguson and Krone, we have expanded our lines to include JCB material handling products.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Writer.
As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and equipment maintenance and repair services.
This is a great opportunity to work in a consistant environment and contribute to the success of our dealership.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document equipment issues
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or services based on customer concerns and equipment inspections
- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and communicate them to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain open communication with customers throughout the service process
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Manage work order software to schedule and close work orders
- Manage technicians work orders and schedules
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment repair and maintenance services
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications
