Lead Direct Support Professional

Hands of Heartland is looking for a compassionate and caring individual to work with the people we support as a Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP).
What You’ll Do: Work directly with people with developmental disabilities assisting them with day to day living activities at our Day Center or a Residential location.
You will support individuals with planned group-based or individual-focused activities.
This position may require you to transport individuals in company vehicles.
Shifts Needed: Various hours- evenings and weekends- for House Manager/Lead DSP for Residential.
Skillset Needed for the Job: Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexible and willing to adapt to change.

Requirements: Must be 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
Must be able to pass all background checks.
Experience not required.
Pay: $17- 18 an hour.
We pay more for experience and if you have a CNA license.
