Immediate opening for farm manager on family-owned alfalfa, corn, & soybean farm north of O’Neill on over 3000 acres.
We are searching for a farm manager who enjoys working outside, thrives in an exciting and evolving workplace, able to create and carry out plans of action, and is detail-orientated.
Our acreage consists of irrigated and dryland on which we produce alfalfa, corn, and soybeans.
operating farm and agriculture equipment such as tractors, planters, grain carts, sprayers, and pivots.
Self-starter with a positive attitude.
We are looking for an individual to help increase quality of customer service and efficiency within the company.
Supervise the entire crop production cycle from fertilizing, planting, and harvesting procedures of crops and implement best practices across all areas of our operation.
Oversee and supervise employees on farm, including seasonal employees.
Perform basic and preventative maintenance on farming and agriculture equipment.
Perform all daily work tasks alongside farm crew.
Watch out for safety of staff around the farm.
Ability to be flexible and change tasks if and when needed.
Work outdoors during all types of weather
Farm experience required.
Prior farming and agriculture management experience preferred.
Ability to work extended hours during planting and harvest seasons.
No livestock, so winters are more flexible.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
00 - $70,000.
